Where there is no energy flow, do not go. Realize it might not be the right path at this time. Learning under any circumstances, helps increase one's power and strength. Remember to laugh, love and take are of yourself. Love cleanses and feeds energy. Validate yourself, it will build self esteem. Inner self worth has initially come through validation from the outer world, which after awhile holds little importance. In this Chakra you work towards accepting your own special qualities.
In this Chakra it governs our competitiveness, boundaries and responsibility. There is balance to be learned to ensure the EGO is not overriding. Addictions are a means of escaping from responsibilities and commitments in the outside world. This covers our deep-seated feelings of inadequacy, aggression, and low self-esteem. Perhaps an internalized belief that you are not good enough to live a life of freedom, joy, and fulfillment.
You are absolutely good enough
We are what we eat, therefore the type of food we eat represents the level of care and respect we have for ourselves. It is in our digestive systems that we find the first signs of discontent or conflict. Consider Food as love, Love yourself, Love good food for your body.
I am worthy to live my life to the fullest, without fear or guilt, listening only to my own inner voice. I AM WORTHY.
To exercise this Chakra:
Take long, deep, slow breaths into the pit of your belly, observe how your belly rises and falls with the breath. When you are feeling safe, sound and secure with your breath imagine a fiery beacon of light just above your belly button. Imagine with each breath this light grows larger and spreads to every cell in your body, expand it beyond your cells and outside your body completely surrounding you. Feel your sense of power, and self worth. When you feel your light expanding beyond the outer layer of your skin bring your presence back into the room. Slowly open your eyes and carry this light with you wherever you go. Share it with those you encounter, it's contagious!
